Kordoi, the Assamese name for star fruit, is a tangy, vitamin C-rich fruit enjoyed raw with chillies and salt, or worked into traditional dishes like Kordoi Tok (sweet-tangy chutney), Masor Tenga with Kordoi (sour fish curry), and Kordoi Achar (pickled star fruit in mustard oil).
